Record-ing plans, ideas and killer lyrics in these amazing notebooks from Vinylux, incorporating vintage vinyl albums across a range of genres. Heavy book board covers are wrapped in smooth vegan leather, applied to the entire front cover is an upcycled vintage vinyl LP, the spine is bound in linen-textured book cloth.

There's an elastic strap closure and inside are 160 sheets of lined paper; the lines are actually composed of microdots which gives them just the right amount of presence. Handmade in Philadelphia.

Vinylux started as part of a graduate school thesis project when Jeff Davis began molding vintage vinyl records over custom-made forms. Since then, hundreds of thousands of old, unplayable records have found new life in the form of functional everyday objects. The whole operation has high eco-consciousness, even vinyl scrap is sent to record-pressing plants to be incorporated into new records.
