Gold pentagonal, or “Gōkaku,” shaped pencils are used in Japan for good luck when taking tests but we imagine they're helpful with the broader tests of life as well. Lightweight wood shaped in a five-sided barrel is finished in metallic gold with 'Gokaku Enpitsu' in Japanese imprinted near the top.
