Kaweco's Student series was designed in 1883 to provide a stylish and reliable writing instrument for the young University of Heidelberg students who enthusiastically supported the Kaweco brand. The original, perfectly-crafted design, remains basically unchanged to this day and is beloved by writers of all ages. The Student 50's Rock Fountain Pen, along with the 60's Swing and 70's Soul versions, is a salute to this heritage.
Body is high-quality resin, with satisfying weight and balance, in blue and cream; golden fittings and engraving on the cap. The cap screws on and off and can post securely when writing. Gold-plated stainless-steel nib, manufactured by Bock of Heidelberg. Uses short or long international cartridges or converter. A blue cartridge is included with pen.
