Witch List Market Pad
Originally inspired by the salty, crystal clear blue shores of the Caribbean in designer Melissa Constandse's native Mexico, Open Sea is a Brooklyn-based studio that creates paper goods inspired by the occult, the Victorian era, and a wide variety of esoteria such as naturalist art and the treasures of the plant and animal kingdom. Combining painstakingly and intelligently executed assemblage and original art, Open Sea reinterprets stationery through a distinctly magical filter.
The beautifully-designed Witch List Market Pad has an ironic, upside-down admonition against witchcraft should you be tempted to hex the person who beat you to the last parking spot at the grocery store. Heavy text-weight stock, cardboard backing.
