Season Paper began as a friendship between two talented students, Julie and Mélissa, who met while studying textile art in Paris, spending their days at looms and learning the patience that handmade things require. Upon graduating, they traded thread for pencils and founded a pattern studio, drawing everything by hand, just the two of them, in a workshop outside the city. And that's how it still works today. Every pattern in a Season Paper collection starts with inspiration transformed by pencils, pastels, ink, and paint into gorgeous items for living. The collections are designed in tandem, Julie and Mélissa's drawings respond to each other until the right balance emerges, creating everything from jigsaw puzzles to wallpaper, to blankets, to jewelry and, of course, stationery. The items presented here are made in France with careful quality and sustainability in mind, printed with vegetable-based inks on paper from responsibly managed European forests.
