Rosa Parks Letterpress Printed Notebook

A perfect notebook for capturing world-changing plans featuring Kathryn Hunter's letterpress-printed illustration of civil rights heroine Rosa Parks.

Named "the first lady of civil rights" by the U.S. Congress, on December 1, 1955 Mrs. Parks refused to give up her seat to a white passenger on a segregated bus in Montgomery, Alabama, her defiance sparking the Montgomery Bus Boycott. The boycott's  success launched nationwide efforts to end racial segregation of public facilities.

Rosa Parks received many accolades during her lifetime, including the NAACP's highest award, the Springarn Medal, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
